Vegetarian Insurance

Are you vegetarian? Or vegan?

Join us in creating a better vegan world!

Transfer your existing insurance cover to us or take up a new cover with us and we will donate 10% of the revenue we earn from your policy to a charity of your choice.

According to Nutrition Australia “There is a substantial body of evidence supporting the belief that vegetarians in Western countries experience significantly less cancer, less heart disease, fewer strokes, and generally live longer than omnivores.” (1)

As a vegetarian or vegan, you don’t need convincing that you have chosen a healthier, kinder and more environmentally sustainable lifestyle than the general non-vegetarian population.

At the moment, there is no life insurance product in Australia that rewards Vegetarians and Vegans. We however want to reward you on making a commitment to yourself, the animals, and the environment by donating to a charity of your choice.

It’s as easy as that. Transfer your existing policy to us here at Make a Difference Insurance (or seek our professional risk advice in purchasing a new policy) and we donate to your charity! There is no catch. This applies to all types of insurance cover (life, trauma, TPD, income protection, etc).

Why else should you use us?

The owners of the business are vegetarian.

Caroline and Brian Jones believe the best way that we can go about finding an insurance company who will develop a product specifically for vegetarians is if you let us manage your existing policies, or let us find you a new policy to suit your needs (remember, we are insurance brokers so we always find the best possible deal for our clients). If we are looking after your insurance needs, this enables us to do two very important roles:

Collect statistics on vegetarians that we can present back to insurance companies proving that vegetarians make fewer claims; and
Develop a product specifically for vegetarians that doesn’t assume you present the same risk as a non vegetarian.
